Georgakoulias Crew

So still doing one post a day for now but I haven’t forgotten that I have to post three more. Trust me I’ve been busy enough lately that I am surprised I am even writing my one. Today the studio felt more like a nursery with one of my September bride’s bringing in her little one, Sarah, to get some photos done with Brianne and then my cousin Sonia bringing in her twins, Dimitri & Gabriella and her daughter Isabella. Such a fun filled day full of smiles and little cries and all the things that make kids as much fun as they are. Here’s a few photos of the crew that came along today.

I also have a mother’s day session booked with Sonia – so look forward to more photos coming soon. Sonia booked under our mother’s day promotion that includes the photo session as well as a 7×7 coffee table book. If your interested in something like this please let us know but if your just curious here’s two example page layouts for a 8.5×11 book.

That’s all for today – home to my Freddie and my wonderful Husband and back tomorrow for another day :)

What’s New?

So ok today wasn’t the magical 4 blog post day that I had hoped it would be but I promised one blog post at least a day – so this is it :) So i keep alluding to some new things that are going on that’s new around here but I haven’t said what or who or when or any of the other details that would give you a clue as to what the said new things are. Well one thing that I can tell you is that Amanda Lachapelle Photography is looking to divide the wedding and portrait portions of our website. The type of clients are totally different and we want to be able to showcase more of what your specifically looking for. We’ve been working really hard to pick the right photos and content that should go into the site but I can say that it should be live before the end of the month. Here’s a sneak peak at the new “about us” page – in the portrait section. Once everything is live we’d love to get some feedback as to what everyone thinks :)

Hopefully tomorrow we’ll have more news for you! or maybe not – I tend to deliver these things bit by bit :)

Task #12 Completed :)

So as you might have seen in an earlier posting I crossed off one of my tasks in my 101 in 1001 list. I went out this weekend on the SUNNIEST but also the COLDEST day and took some photos of my family. Being that it was windy and chilly we didn’t have long but I managed to get a few shots – my mom said she would gladly sit for more when it’s gorgeous sandal weather but for now I was cut off lol :) Here’s what we managed to get :)

Us freezing under the tree – huddled together

Let’s see you try running up the side of that after a rainy day to make sure you don’t miss the timer lol :)

me and my siblings

My two brothers and my wonderful husband Bryan

me and my half sister who I whole love – we just have a great sibling rivalry going on since we share the same name lol yup her name is Amanda too hehe She will be helping out in the studio this summer so you’ll be hearing from her as well :)

Dan & Amy – Family Shoot

As you can probably tell my blog post a day doesn’t extend to the weekend :) While I totally believe the weekend is worth blogging about and that I should be faithful in blogging – my promise to myself does not extend to Saturday and Sunday. I promise though I have a great reason for it. My husband works all week and gets home pretty late sometimes so the weekends are all we get – and we have to fit out time in and amongst shoots and weddings and other family commitments, so basically I just don’t want to add one more thing I have to do on the weekends lol :) So this weekend Bryan and I were working away at the office and in walked my scheduled 12pm appointment. DANA AND GEOFF :) They are getting married on May 24th and although I have no photos to show as of yet – it still wanted to mention it in my blog. This couple is great – they are warm and funny and I cannot wait til their wedding day. So we chatted for an hour or so and then they had to get back to their new home – they were actually moving in that day! Then at 2pm Amy & Dan show up for their in studio shoot :) with their two gorgeous and active little ones. Amy was worried about the boys being rambunctious but it just makes everything a little more fun. Her little guy Camryn, was so in love with our puppy Freddie he didn’t want to leave him on the other side of the office and actually got some shots with him :) Kaleb – the newest addition to the family is so cute and has this big smile. Here are a few of the shots we got :)
