WPPI Part #3

Ok so the last blog post was a little long and honestly I am trying to write one post for every day I missed and well since i missed 10 and I have wrote 2 well I still have 8 to go. So i won’t be writing these super long posts because then I’d really be in trouble :)

So as I mentioned, Jayme was my partner in crime for most of WPPI and she was also the poor person who had to listen to me ramble on and on about being inspired and wanting to shoot something asap. I actually stood around in different places looking for people that I wanted to shoot and see if I could work up the nerve. For the most part I was chicken (learned my lesson though – this will change next year and I should have random photos of all different people)  but I did manage to ask one couple if I could take their photo. I was just inspired  by the way that the sculptures and grounds were at Ceasers at night so I managed to ask one couple if I could take their photo – they were on their way to a show so they literally only had five minutes but I managed to take a few photos. Here’s two samples . . .

I just love that everything was lit so well that even at night we could take photos without flash :)

Thanks again to you both for your co-operation :)

WPPI – Part #2

Ok so I know I posted some photos of meeting David Jay and Jasmine Star in Vegas but I also took photos of the actual city. So much was going on during the convention that my mind was spinning a mile a minute and I needed some sanity. My sanity came in the form of Jayme Morrison (www.jaymemorrison.com) a fellow photographer friend that was my roomie during the trip. Jayme and I pretty much stuck together a lot of the trip and she’s pretty much the only reason I saw daylight at all or ate a good meal during my trip :) So on two of our forays out into Vegas to breathe we got some great shots and had lots of fun :) Here’s a few from around Vegas

Sign outside the Miracle Mile Shops - just loved the way it looked

And here’s a few photos of the beautiful and mother to be – Jayme :)

Jayme just outside of Paris

This was taken just inside a VIP section of Ceaser’s Palace – where I am sure we were not supposed to be

but oh well :)

This is a beautiful stair case in the aforementioned VIP section – I just love this one – The idea I had in my mind was Jayme was on the staircase to heaven waiting for her Baby lol – would have loved to have all my equipment and everything with me to shoot the ones in this location because Ceaser’s Palace is just absolutely gorgeous – it would be a dream place to shoot a wedding – in fact I got a pretty big itch to shoot anything there as you will see in my next blog post :)
